Join our team: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Scott County, Tennessee. Day to day you will dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs. Ideal candidate: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Full-time, day shift.
