Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Cascade County, Montana. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); write and edit G-code programs at the control; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; load and index turning tools in the turret. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
