Rigger — Henrico County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Henrico County, Virginia. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On a typical shift you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; read lift plans and method statements before starting.
