Formwork erector — Makoda

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork erector in Makoda, Kano State. You will be based on a residential tower site. Day to day you will erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting. Requirements: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
