Now hiring: we are hiring a stores assistant in City of Lexington, Virginia. The job is at a builders' merchant yard. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends • Valid counterbalance/reach forklift licence (RTITB or equivalent) • Previous warehouse or stores experience Day to day you will segregate returns and process them back into stock; pack items into cartons and seal them with tape; check incoming deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders; replenish pick faces from bulk storage; scan barcodes to update stock levels on the WMS; pick orders from racking using a handheld scanner and pick list.
