Lorry driver — Greenville County

Join our team: we are hiring a lorry driver in Greenville County, South Carolina. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock You should have: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
