Moulder — Polk County

Join our team: we are hiring a moulder in Polk County, Georgia. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal The role involves: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
