Trowel-trade bricklayer — Pike County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Pike County, Ohio. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. On the job you will handle: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Part-time with flexible hours.
