Power press operator wanted in Ida County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power press operator in Ida County, Iowa. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
