Mechanical press operator — Iberville Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Iberville Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings You should have: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
