VMC operator — Midlothian

Join our team: we are hiring a VMC operator in Midlothian, Scotland. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience The role involves: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
