Immediate opening: press shop operator (Missouri)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Pulaski County, Missouri. The job is at a busy press shop. On the job you will handle: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
