Cnc lathe operator — Gove County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Gove County, Kansas. The job is in a tool room. Day-to-day duties: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
