Immediate opening: visual inspection operator (Florida)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Columbia County, Florida. On the job you will handle: • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Requirements: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor Rotating shifts.
