Overlocker operator — Vinton County

Join our team: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Vinton County, Ohio. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. You will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Full-time, day shift.
