Ironing operator — Adair County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Adair County, Missouri. The job is in a busy laundry. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Your main tasks: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
