Gang bricklayer wanted in Queens County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Queens County, New York. You will be based at a residential building site. You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Day to day you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
