Sewing machine operator — Pointe Coupee Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
