Chiller technician — Glasgow City

We are recruiting: we are hiring a chiller technician in Glasgow City, Scotland. You will work in a commercial cold storage facility. The role involves: • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
