Tailor machinist — Wasco County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Wasco County, Oregon. Day to day you will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits.
