Immediate opening: press operator (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press operator in Douglas County, Georgia. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred 4+ years on the tools preferred.
