Tile installer — Poweshiek County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tile installer in Poweshiek County, Iowa. The job is at a bathroom renovation job. Day-to-day duties: • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
