Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power float operator in Jackson County, Alabama. You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Your main tasks: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
