Sewing machine operator — Potter County

Join our team: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Potter County, Texas. The job is on an export house sewing floor. Day-to-day duties: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Performance bonus on top of base pay.
