Lifting rigger — Clay County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Clay County, Florida. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather The role involves: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
