Fabricator-welder • McCulloch County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in McCulloch County, Texas. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day-to-day duties: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work 5+ years on the tools preferred.
