Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Clay County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Your main tasks: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour 6+ years on the tools preferred.
