Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile setter in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. On the job you will handle: • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system You should have: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts Rotating shifts. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
