Rigging foreman — Ukwa West

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Ukwa West, Abia State. The job is at a container port. Day to day you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles We offer ₦230,000 per month plus benefits.
