Sample machinist — Warri South

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Warri South, Delta State. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. You will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams 5+ years on the tools preferred.
