Conventional mill operator — Cherokee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Cherokee County, Kansas. The role involves hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Part-time with flexible hours.
