Shakeout operator — Meagher County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Meagher County, Montana. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Day to day you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
