Argon welder — McCulloch County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in McCulloch County, Texas. You will be based on an industrial construction site. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
