Bakery assistant — Lancaster County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Lancaster County, Virginia. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. Day-to-day duties: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Full-time with occasional weekends.
