Head butcher — Manatee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head butcher in Manatee County, Florida. You will work in a supermarket meat department. On a typical shift you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths 3+ years on the tools preferred.
