Groundworker — Gilpin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Gilpin County, Colorado. On the job you will handle: • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations What we are looking for: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
