Industrial sewing operator — Highlands County

Join our team: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Highlands County, Florida. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Day-to-day duties: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Full-time, day shift.
