CO2 welder — Gilchrist County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Gilchrist County, Florida. You will work on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 6+ years on the tools preferred.
