Excavator operator — Otero County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an excavator operator in Otero County, New Mexico. What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Day-to-day duties: • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Check for underground cables and services before digging Six days a week, one day off.
