Blocklayer — Wythe County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Wythe County, Virginia. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day to day you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. We offer $24 per hour plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
