Immediate opening: mining dozer operator (New Jersey)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin Requirements: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
