Head butcher — Adams County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a head butcher in Adams County, Iowa. The job is in a meat processing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day 3+ years on the tools preferred.
