Press shop operator — Knox County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Knox County, Indiana. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. You should have: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred The role involves: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $16 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
