QC inspector — Champaign County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a QC inspector in Champaign County, Illinois. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data Requirements: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing 4+ years on the tools preferred.
