Join our team: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Lucas County, Ohio. The job is at a busy garment factory. Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams On a typical shift you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
