Panel beater — Washington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel beater in Washington County, Iowa. You will be based in a smash repair workshop. On the job you will handle: • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair What we are looking for: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage $8,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
