Head baker — Modoc County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head baker in Modoc County, California. The role involves: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. $7,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
