Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Quay County, New Mexico. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles On a typical shift you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
