Stitching operator wanted in Chowan County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Chowan County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy garment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Full-time with occasional weekends.
