Join our team: laundry presser (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a laundry presser in Prince Edward County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
